What it does

A collage built from ONE image instead of many. The frame is cut into panels - vertical columns, a recursive grid, or a mix - and every panel takes its own crop of the layer below at its own zoom, then gets its own treatment: straight photo, heavy blur, halftone (square / round / cross dots, some plates running dark), diagonal hatch whose stroke length tracks tone, flat tint, duotone or inverted. Because every panel reads the same source, the sheet stays visually related no matter how differently each piece is processed - one panel is a wide establishing shot, its neighbour an extreme detail of the same ridge. Over the top, optional HUD furniture pushes it from collage toward technical document: a Frame of edge rulers, corner brackets and W/E markers; a spec block with barcode; and a scatter of printed matter - barcodes with their code numbers, part and lot numbers, long ID strings, status lines with dotted rules, and stamped Cyrillic and CJK labels, some boxed. Mark Density sets how many; Mark Size and Text Size scale the marks and the spec/ruler text independently. Controls: layout, panel count, size variance, gutter and margin; crop zoom range and wander; treatment mix and per-treatment toggles; contrast, monochrome, paper, ink and accent; HUD frame, spec text, mark density, sizes and colour. Animate (off by default) with Recut (the whole sheet re-rolls each cycle), Drift (every crop slowly pans inside its panel) or Scan (a band of treatment change sweeps across). Drops onto any image or video layer; with nothing below it uses a synthesized ridge so the effect still reads.
